About Leah

Leah has received numerous awards for her poetry, short stories, and articles.

In 2023, she was the 3rd place winner of the Vera Manuel Award for Poetry and was shortlisted for the gritLIT Short Story Contest. Among her other awards and prizes, she has won the Adele Wiseman Poetry Award two years in a row.

She holds a Master of Science in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Windsor.

Many of her poems relate to her experience living with multiple sclerosis and mental health conditions.

She works in book publishing in London.
